Best Tradeshow Booths Will be Remembered
The best tradeshow booths are locked away in my memory because they had
impact.
I have several memories about exhibit booths. The best tradeshow booths
are locked away in my memory because they had impact. They all had a way
of mysteriously calling you from across the room. These booths are
alluring because they are often visually
stimulating. They capture your eye and attention even before you are
close enough to discover what the product is, they are advertising.
This visual stimulation is one of the keys in creating an exciting
tradeshow exhibit booths. You have to stick out in a warm and welcoming
way. Most tradeshows are held in giant halls or convention centers, if
your tradeshow booth does not have that lure, then it will be lost in a
sea of other display booths. Imagine walking into a huge convention
center, swarming with thousands of people, and rows of tradeshow booths
whose representatives are begging for your attention. If you are like
me, if the booth isn't interesting, you walk by, however, if the booth
captures your
attention you stop.
One booth has always stuck in my mind; it was half of an igloo with
lighting to simulate the Aurora Borealis. It's been several years since
I saw this booth, and I still remember it---That's impact. When I looked
down this particular row of booths, to my left was this huge semicircle
display that caught my eye, as did its lighting. The design of the
booth made you want to walk over to it. However, it was the products and
the representative that made me want to stay. Though I'd never heard of
this company before the show, I liked what I saw. They may have been
new, but they impressed me more than several companies who had
established businesses and reputations.
The design of this tradeshow exhibit booth was the bait. From looking at
the booth, you knew nothing about the product. You assumed that it had
to do with something cold, but you were not sure. The design was simple
and the lighting was soft and pleasing not bright and annoying. However,
once you were at the booth, the company's products and staff encouraged
you to stay.
